House of Representatives member Hon. Shehu Koko Mohammed instigates the federal government of Nigeria to temporarily halt the payment of electricity bills.
Hon. Mohammed Koko, an indigene of Kebbi State, serving as an Honorable in the House of Representatives.
He is currently representing the Maiyama/Koko/Besse Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
He, therefore, impels with the government not to allow the citizen to pay for the electricity bills in this pandemic period.
However, he said that the government should consider the poor people of the country during this pandemic and free them from paying for the bills.
Since most states are experiencing a lockdown system, the federal government stops the payment of electricity bills for two months.
Also, the economic system of the country is currently not favorable for the citizen.
The federal government should suspend the payment of electricity bills for two months.
