The Ondo State Federal Road Safety Corps state command has disclosed that no less than 156 people had died as a result of road accidents which occurred between January and October 2019.
The crashes were said to have occurred at some places described as black spots across the 18 local government areas of the state.
According to FRSC Boss, the notable black-spots in the state are, Ore junction, Ajebandele, Oke Alamojuto in Ikare, Oka Akoko, Epinmi Akoko, Owo Junction, Onyearugbulem Junction along Akure-Owo Expressway and Akure-Ondo road
He appealed to general road users to report reckless and drunken drivers to the law enforcement agents. He also urged motorists to drive carefully and obey traffic laws.
