The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) in its daily briefing announce the new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.
According to the briefing, on 8th April 2020, Nigeria records 22 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.
However, this has made the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria to rise to 276, 44 discharged and 6 deaths.
In the NCDC official twitter handle, it was updated that Nigeria has recorded 22 new cases of coronavirus.
Following the report, the new cases are confirmed in Lagos, FCT, Bauchi and Edo State.
Subsequently, there are 15 new cases in Lagos, 4 in FCT, 2 in Bauchi and 1 in Edo State.
However, as of 9:00 PM 8th April 2020, there are 22 new cases in Nigeria.
Therefore, this has made the total cases in Nigeria to rise to 276.
