NCDC confirms 245 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria

Nigeria Center for Disease Contro (NCDC) has confirmed 245 new cases of COVID-19 in Nigeria.

This was made known by the agency during its daily report on the new confirmed cases via twitter.

According to NCDC, as of May 22nd, Nigeria has recorded 245 fresh cases of the novel coronavirus.

Subsequently, the deadly virus has increased drastically in the last three days in Nigeria.

However, as of May, 22nd, Nigeria has confirmed 245 new cases in 21 states with the inclusion of FCT.

However, this brings the total confirmed cases of the virus to 7261 across the country.

Also, the death rate and the number of discharged patients have also increased n the country.

Consequently, Nigeria has recorded the total death rate of 221 cases of #COVID19 in the country.

Moreover over 2000 patients have been discharged after been tested negative two consecutive times.
