Homemade Remedies to Get Rid of Ringworm

Research shows that Ringworm is a highly contagious fungal infection of the skin or scalp. It is spread by skin-to-skin contact or by touching an infected animal or object.
Ringworm is also known as dermatophytosis, dermatophyte infection, or tinea, which is typically scaly and may be red and itchy.
Ringworm of the scalp is common in children, where it may cause bald patches.
Howbeit, studies show that Ringworm is a misnomer, since a fungus, not a worm, causes the infection. The lesion caused by this infection resembles a worm in the shape of a ring, hence the name.

It can be spread in the following ways: Human to human. Ringworm often spreads by direct, skin-to-skin contact with an infected person. 
Homemade Redemies to Get Rid of Ringworm:
Soap and water: Since ringworm has the ability to spread and infect other parts of the body. However, in other to prevent ringworm from spreading or infecting other areas of the body, keep the skin as clean as possible. To achieve this ensures to rinse the infection with soap and warm water once or twice daily.
Aloe Vera: Seemingly, research shows that aloe vera contains six antiseptic agents that exhibit antifungal, antibacterial, and antiviral activities. Howbeit, to eliminate ringworm with aloe vera, apply the gel from the plant onto the ringworm patch three or four times daily.
Coconut oil: Coconut oil contains Lauric Acid which is a powerful anti-fungal agent. It, however, kill the ringworm fungus and soothe the skin. This allows for a quick and gentle healing process that is safe for both children and pets.
To use it, after washing the spot, clean till it gets dry and then apply coconut oil.
Turmeric: Also, turmeric helps to cure ringworm. Mix turmeric with a small amount of water or coconut oil until it forms a paste and applies gently to the skin. Leave it to dry before washing off with warm soapy water.

Apple cedar vinegar: Apple cedar vinegar is known for its anti-fungal properties. Apple cedar vinegar is very effective when it comes to getting rid of ringworm. Just apply it directly to the infected area of the skin and it will provide an acidic environment in which the fungi that cause the ringworm cannot thrive.

Note, if after treating ringworm with home remedies for two weeks and symptoms continue to persist, it is then advisable to see a doctor for further medication.
