The Federal Government of Nigeria has delivered trucks of foodstuff to Kano State.
The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, Sadiya Farouq has delivered the palliative to Kano State.
The Minister has delivered the 110 trucks of palliatives foodstuff on behalf of the federal government to the government of Kano State.
However, the palliatives foodstuff is meant for the distribution to the needy, vulnerable in the state.
Subsequently, the federal government has ordered the delivery of Rice and Grains to Kano amid the lockdown.
Howbeit, the 100 trailers of grains consist of millet, sorghum, and maize.
Also, Sadiya Umar Farouq disclosed that the ministry had two weeks ago delivered 10 trailer loads of parboiled rice to the state government.
Moreover, she noted that the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was directed to deliver 100 trucks of grains to five locations in the State for distribution to poor and vulnerable households on the instruction of President Muhammadu Buhari.
However, the federal government has ordered 110 trucks of foodstuffs to the poor people in Kano amid lockdown.
