Actress Joke Silva has gotten a special assignment from the Lagos state government.
She has been appointed to serve as the chairman of the Post-COVID-19 Pandemic Review committee.
The committee was inaugurated to reactivate the tourism, arts, and culture sector of the state.
Recently, the Lagos government inaugurated the state’s Post-COVID-19 Pandemic Review Committee.
This inauguration was made on Thursday, May 22nd, 2020, in which Joke Silva was made chairman to head the committee.
The veteran actress shared the news via her Instagram page, much to the excitement of her fans and followers.

“The committee was inaugurated to reactivate the Tourism, Arts, and Culture sector of the state.”
“Inaugurating the committee in Ikeja, the Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mrs. Uzamat Akinbile-Yusuf, said that the state’s creative industry had remained dormant, following the Coronavirus pandemic.”
“She said that the committee was also expected to refocus attention toward the development of domestic tourism as an immediate measure to revitalize the industry.”
